The Four-Slide Contest

Posted August 7th, 2007 by mrmoses

Over at dy/dan they’ve proposed a contest to sell yourself in four slides. It comes from a recent MBA program that has allowed entrants to sell themselves to the program by, get this, creating four PowerPoint slides printing them and adding them to the enrollment package.

I took this a step away from me as a person and created a show to sell my class to my students:

Get flash player to play to this file

I’ve got two more stewing around in my mind. They’ll be up soon and then I’ll need to pick one for Friday.

This is AWESOME! I knew you would be the man to step up to the plate on this. You’ve got me on the run man, I don’t know if I can compete.

P.S. Glad you liked my “Your Brain in School” one.

This is a BRILLIANT idea (think the “Guinness Guys;”) and one I will have to steal.

I have a similar assignment for the first week of school:

Describe who you are in one sentence using one subject, at least one verb and as many adjectives as you choose.

Not as easy as you would think.
